University of Winnipeg Entrance Scholarships

The University of Winnipeg has a list of entrance scholarships that students can apply for. These scholarships are due by December 2nd, 2013. The application package can be found online

Fall/Winter 2014-15 Entrance Scholarship Application Form

Students are encouraged to fill out the application package and then indicate (check) the listed awards they would like to be considered for. Applications need to be submitted directly to the University of Winnipeg.

**Note** Some of the scholarships (those listed on page 4 of the application package) require a school nomination.
A nomincation package includes: a nomination letter from the school, two reference letters (from teachers, members of the community, etc.) and a list of extra-curricular activities and/or volunteer contributions the student has made.

Students who wish to be considered for these awards must submit their request for a school nomination letter to Ms. Catalano or Ms. Sidorow in Student Services BEFORE November 27th, 2013. The eligible U of W scholarships that require school nomination are:
Alumni Entrance Scholarship Program (value of $5,000)
Buhler Bursary in Business and economics (value of $25,000)
Marsha P. Hanen Entrance Scholarship (value of $5,000)

Please be assured that students must have completed and submitted a U of W admissions application package in addition to the scholarship application. All applications are due to the Univeristy of Winnipeg by December 2nd, 2013.
